Main Camp

The Main Camp area of Camp Coniston is where you will find the Lodge, Dining Hall, Office, and many of the activity area facilities of camp. Here is a sampling:

Coniston Front Gate

On Check-In Day
 everyone parks on the

A-Field

(A is for Athletic)
and drops off their luggage for the Coniston staff to bring
 to each camper’s cabin!

You'll see our

Basketball & Tennis Courts

as soon as you walk into camp. Campers have classes in these areas as well as spend free time here. They also play other camp teams that we invite to Coniston!

Our

Beach Volleyball Court

 in main camp has
 lots of activity!

Our

Dining Hall

was built for Summer 1997, where we all eat together, family style. Yes, about 500 people each meal ~ that is a lot of grilled cheese!

The inside of the

Dining Hall

Ask us what the Coniston Traffic Pattern is!?

Our

Camp Store

is open on Check-In and Check-Out so there is no need to give your child money while at camp. Each year we have new fun Coniston sweatshirts, baseball hats and T-shirts!

The Lodge

is a key location for evening programs, camper plays, acting class and the Drama Show! Campers and Alumni all recognize our Fairy Tale stage mural that was painted in 1938!

Do you know what this is?
It's a disc catcher on our
9-hole

Disc (Frisbee) Golf Course!

The course winds throughout the woods, each hole with a set par and unique hazard!

We have

13 horses

each summer for campers who have finished 4th grade or higher to take lessons. Beginners or those who want to jump - we can teach all levels of riders!

NH Hall

has ping pong, air hockey and other games for rainy days or free time! This was the camp dining hall from the 60's-90's and has been beautifully renovated with plenty of space for large groups to gather and play!

Camp is the best place to

Learn how to sail!

Since we own all of the property around Lake Coniston, it\'s a great body of water to learn on and enjoy! While most NH Lakes are full of fast motorboats and vacationers... at camp we have the chance to enjoy our own beautiful space!
