Can I request that my son/daughter be placed in the same cabin as his/her friend?

Yes, you can request a cabinmate assignment. See the Policies page for details.

Is Camp Coniston an accredited camp?

Yes, Camp Coniston is accredited by the American Camping Association and is licensed by the State of New Hampshire. See the Accreditations page for more information and links to these organizations.

Will my son/daughter be able to call home while at camp?

No. The telephones in camp are for staff and office use only & there is no cell phone coverage in the area.

Will my son/daughter have access to e-mail while at camp?

No. E-mail is not accessible to campers.

Can I send a fax to my son/daughter?

Yes, faxes may be received by campers for a $1 fee. Please contact the office for more information.

How does my son/daughter get their laundry done?

Laundry service is only available to those campers that are staying for 4 weeks. Laundry can be sent out between sessions. Clothes must be tied in a one load size, cloth laundry bag, with camper’s name clearly printed on outside.

Are there “visiting days” for parents?

Visiting days are only on the normal change-over weekends between Sessions 1 & 2 and Sessions 3 & 4. While activities are scheduled for the 4-week campers, they leave camp with a parent or guardian during the change-over weekend.
